Jamesonite is a few sulfide mineral that form fine crystals that look like hair fibers. They may be confused with actual hairs until touched. The fibers may be so thick as to cover a specimen with hair-like fibers or it may be sparse. Jamesonite crystals have less definition in its crystals and are more brittle.
