Pyromorphite and albite have very similar structures and shape. It's color is typically green, but can also be yellow, orange and brown. It is made of lead, phosphorous, oxygen and chlorine, characteristics typically found in the apatite group of minerals.

Pyromorphite can be a source of lead the is used in the production of motor vehicle batteries, glass for TV and computer screens because of its radiation absorbing properties.
